| News: Police respond to infant death in Muncie |
|
Police are responding to the apparent death of a four-month-old child.
Police Radio traffic indicated that detectives and the prosecutor were on the way to the scene.
The yard has been taped off as a crime scene.
There were attempts to revive the child, and then the coroner was called to the home.
UPDATE:
Muncie Police tell 24-Hour News 8 that the death is suspicious because they responded to the death of a two-month-old infant at the same address on Nov. 3, 2009.
According to Sgt. Engle, the woman who lives at that address is a babysitter who works with children through her church, Westminster Presbyterian.
Engle says the investigation into the two-month-old infant’s death determined there was nothing suspicious about the death.
